Taj Mahal

Agra has become synonymous to Taj Mahal. It is one of the wonders of the world-a white marble mausoleum adorned with spectacular carvings. Built by mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife Mumtaj. You can visit this from 6:30A.M to 5:30 P.M in all days of the weeks except friday.

Red Fort

Red fort of agra or Agra fort was built by mughal emperor Akbar in 1573. It is located on the right bank of river Yamuna in agra, uttar pradesh and is entirely made of red stones. Agra fort is one of the finest mughal fort in india. attraction in this fort is the evening sound and light show that recreates the fort's history. It is the ideal case of the mughal style of craftsmanship and engineering and is standout amongst the most visited places of interest in Agra. 

Agra fort opens in all days of the week from sunrise to sunset. The visiting hours are from 6:00A.M - 6:00P.M. 

Jama Masjid

Jama masjid is popularly known as the jami masjid or "Friday Mosque".It is located just opposite of agra fort. The original name of this construct was Masjid Jahan Numa built by Shah Jahan. Jama masjid is fabricated mostly of red stones and white marbles that remain as a declaration to the brilliant Mughal engineering. It is one of the biggest mosque of india. You can visit here free of cost. It is open for all days of the week except friday.

Fatehpur Sikri

It spread over an area of 700 acres. This is built by akbar where the world biggest doors found called Buland Darwaza. It is totally made up of red stones. Dargah Salin chisti is one of the most revered Sufi saints of the mughal period in the mughal dynasty. Gujarati infuences are also seen in the architectural vocabulary and decor of the palaces of fatehpur sikri.

Itmad-ul-Daulah's Tomb

India's first mughal tomb was built completely with the marble. This tomb was built by Nur jahan (wife of jahangir) and was dedicated to her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg.It is said that the structure was made to be as a draft for the taz mahal. It is basically a combination of Indo- Islamic architecture and octagonal shaped Towers. Small charges will be applied for entry but no charges for photography. You can visit in all days of the week from 8:00A.M-12:00P.M.

 Akbar's Tomb

The tomb is spread over a region of 119 sections of land in sikandra. The whole tomb is built with sandstone and in some portion marble is used. Akbar survived the development of his tomb and fabricated a delightful greenhouse around it.The gateways of the akbar's tomb are most attractive or decorative. It is a resting place of akbar. It opens all days of the week from 10:00A.M - 6:00P.M except friday.

Mehtab Bagh

The mehtab Bagh is built by mughal emperor Babur. It is a Tajmahal viewpoint to capture the stunning hues of taj mahal at the time of sunset. The entry cost is rupees 100 for foreigners. The mehtab Bagh has four sandstone towers, one each at the corner with a tremendous octagonal tank directly in the inside.try to visit between 4:00P.M-5:00P.M so you can see the beauty of sunset. It opens all days of the week from 6:00A.M-5:00P.M.
