Bada Imambara

It is located in Lucknow, India. It is also known as Asfi Imambara. It is important place of worship for muslims who comes here every year to celebrate the religious festival of Muharram. In this Bhool Bhulaiya is fantastic place. Winters are the best time to explore the Imambara because it gets suffocating in the summers. It opening hours are from 6:00A.M-5:00P.M. It remains closed on monday. 

Chhota Imambara 

Chhota Imambara in lucknow is also referred to as 'palace of light'.It is also known by the imambara of Hussainabad. Non muslim are not allowed inside the mosque.you can visit first to Bada imambara then visit chhota imambara later on. It is a beautiful amalgam of charbagh. Its opening hours is 8:00A.M-6:30P.M.

Rumi Darwaza 

It is an example of the fine architectural style of awadh. The monuments grandnessin design is often compared to that of Rome and ottoman empire and marks the entrance to the old city of lucknow. Rumi Darwaza is a sincere impressiveness and must visit if you are travelling in lucknow. You can visit it free of cost. It opens 24 hours and all days of the week. 

Gomti Riverfront 

It is a newly constructed park with some aesthetic attraction positioned in lucknow. Its a peaceful and a fantastic hangout vicinity for individuals, friends and family. You can enjoy street performances here also. The park stretches over 2kms in area. Its opening hours is 6:00A.M-10:00P.M. It opens all days of the week. 

Ambedkar Memorial Park

It is also known as Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal. The construction of the memorial is in the shape of flower which has four petals. The park is located in gomti nagar which is one of the posh localities of lucknow. Its opening hours is 11:00A.M- 10:00P.M. 

Mankamneshwar Temple

Mankamneshwar mandir is situated on the banks of river Yamuna at Saraswati Ghat in lucknow. It is Lord shiva temple. The temple is open to the public on all days and on monday the temple is open for few hours only. This divine place can be reached by hiring a cab or an auto rickshaw from railway station or airport. 

British Residency 

British residency is regarded as a national monuments and one of the major sites of the revolt of 1857 and the historic battle known as the seige of lucknow. Its visiting hours is from sunday to saturday from 7:00A.M-6:00P.M. 

Jama Masjid

It is entirely with yellow sandstone and is known for its intricate style of design and architecture. The jama masjid is located in the heart of city lucknow. The structure has a combination of hindi and muslim architecture. Visiting hours is from 5:00A.M-9:00P.M. 

Chatter Manzil

The name chatter manzil literally means the 'Umbrella Palace'. The most unique thing about the chatter manzil of lucknow is the strikingly different architecture. Its opening timing is 9:30A.M-6:00P.M. It remains closed on saturday and sunday. 


Moti mahal 

The moti mahal in lucknow is one of the most beautiful monuments of india. The moti mahal is located on the borders of gomti and provides a spectacular view of the city of nawab. One of the most tourist attraction of Lucknow. 

Marine Drive 

Marine drive is named after the famous marine drive in mumbai. The spot is popular among the young crowd as a hangout place. The path is sprinkled with benches to sit and relax.It opens 24 hours. 

Lucknow Zoo

Nawab Wazid Ali Sha Zoological garden is also known as 'Prince of wales'.Zoological park and is spread across an area of 71.6 acres of land.It opening hours is 8:30A.M- 5:30P.M.It remains closed on monday.
